East Rockingham ARES - Information

The E-Rock ARES group does not maintain a Facebook Page of its own however, The Port City Amateur Radio Club does. The PCARC provides mutual support to toe the East Rockingham County ARES group as a result of the many members that these organizations have in common.

If you want to stay on top of upcoming E-Rock ARES events and training then follow the PCARC on Facebook.

For those who have a Facebook account just sign in and type Port City Amateur Radio Club in the Facebook search bar then click on the page and hit "Like".

If you do not already have a Facebook account just click here www.facebook.com and follow the simple instructions to open an account. It is fast and free!

Not only is it a great way to keep up with current events for E-Rock ARES and PCARC, it is also a simple and fun way to stay connected with friends and family. If you have children or grandchildren,  I guarantee they are using Facebook to stay in touch.

Hope to see you on our page soon!

I would like to have all ham radio operators listen/use the following 2 meter simplex frequencies to determine if any of them are useable for operations here in East Rockingham County.  Feedback can be sent to me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with any observations that you may have.  I'm especially looking for high noise levels, man made interference.  If you encounter anything like that in the EROC area please let me know where the issues occur.  Please be as specific as possible when giving a location.

The simplex frequencies are:

  1. 146.445
  2. 146.475
  3. 147.450

73,

Scotty
